Ages 13-18

Thursdays 4-6PM  Sept.17th-October 15^th 

In this five week class, students will explore more advanced sewing techniques, building confidence and independence as designers and creators. We will explore the design process, how to find inspiration, creating concept boards and final design sketches. Students will also explore age appropriate techniques in working with patterns, fabric usage and cutting, machine sewing and hand embellishments. Get ready to re-purpose your old denims, design and sew bucket hats and up-cycle your old clothes into new ones!

 Some prior sewing experience is recommended but instruction and supervision will be adjusted to the skill level of each student.

Sewing machines are provided but students are welcome to bring their own.

Tuition: $200 plus $34.87 materials fee
